RSS Help
What is RSS?
It is generally agreed that RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. The YOUR
MOVE RSS feed allows you to get the latest relevant property content of our site,
as soon as its published, straight to your computer.
How to use the feed…
The first thing you need to do is to sign up to, or download, a feed reader service.
This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles
that have been added. There are several free online RSS aggregators, such as
Bloglines or Google reader , where
you can sign up and bring your feeds together into one web page. Click here for
a list of other
RSS readers.
Once you have a feed reader, then you need to activate the YOUR MOVE RSS feed of
your choice by simply clicking on the relevant RSS button on the YOUR MOVE site:
- Sales - Properties New to the Market – these are newly instructed properties for sale
- Sales - Chain Free Properties – these are properties for sale that are chain free
- Lettings - Properties Coming Soon – these are properties to rent which will be coming available shortly
- Sales Property Feed – newly instructed properties for sale from a specified YOUR MOVE branch
- Rental Property Feed – properties to rent which will be coming available shortly
The links for all the individual Sales Property Feeds and the Rental Property Feeds
can be found by visiting the relevant YOUR MOVE branch page (see
Branches ).
Then follow the instructions for your particular feed reader to add the YOUR MOVE
RSS feed.
Your RSS feed reader should now be set up to automatically receive updates from
your chosen YOUR MOVE RSS feed.
Happy house hunting!
