Education is provided at the renowned Bellbaxter High School, where interestingly Scottish folk-rock musicians, The Proclaimers once studied. Cupar is also just fifteen minutes from St Andrews with its world classed University where of course, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge fell in love. Cupar’s Entertainment
The famous village of Falkland with Falkland Palace and many quaint shops is located just 11 miles from Cupar and this is also where the TV series 'Outlander' was filmed.This particular part of Fife is also famous for the many top class golf courses and The Old Course in St Andrews is known as the ‘Home of Golf’.
There are also a number of nice bars, restaurants and country inns throughout North East Fife and two Michelin-starred restaurants including The Peat Inn. Furthermore, Cupar is home to The Scottish Deer Centre, a beautiful country park where you can see different species of deer and birds of prey.
