Following the completion of a recent Your Move survey we’re delighted to announce that Gillian Cook has won the prize of £50 Wyevale Garden Centre vouchers.
Gillian’s success follows her entry in to a prize draw after she kindly completed a survey which focused on the subject of gardens.
In total 1,155 people completed the survey and gave a surprising insight into people’s preferences – with 91% of those surveyed stating a nice garden would influence their decision to view a property.
On finding out she had won the prize draw Gillian commented:
“I remember filling out the survey but thought my chances of winning were quite low. I was so surprised to win but was really pleased.
“I agree that a nice garden is important when considering a property for purchase. I think a well-kept garden can also imply that the current owners look after their entire house, that they are house proud and have kept up with ongoing maintenance in general. Overall spending a bit more for a house with a nice garden is, I think, worth it.
And, as far as my prize goes, after replacing some fencing we have an empty border in our garden, so I hope to use the voucher to buy some flowers to fill it and add some colour - so it was definitely worth winning.”
