You may remember we recently shared that colleagues from Your Move Margate were raising money for charity by doing a skydive 15,000 feet to raise funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Meeting The Team
The team at Your Move Margate recently had the honour of hosting Aarron Cunningham and Barry Penton, accompanied by their delightful guide dogs, Miller and Rufus. During the visit, the dedicated staff, including Juliette Malagodi, Kristina Guoge, and Patrick McDonnell, presented GuideDogs representatives with a generous cheque of £1,285. This donation will contribute to the exceptional work carried out by the charity.
Patrick McDonnell shared some thoughts on meeting Aaron and Barry:
"It was a real pleasure for us all to meet Aarron and Barry and hear how having their guide dogs is so vital for their everyday lives, things that most of us just take for granted can stop with sight loss. It was so inspiring to hear how the dogs make such a positive difference to their owners in so many ways."
Juliette, Kristina, and Patrick, the three individuals behind this remarkable fundraising effort, recently undertook a daring skydive to support Guide Dogs. With immense pride, they handed over the funds raised to Aarron and Barry, who shared their personal experiences and emphasized the profound impact these guide dogs have on their daily lives.
